Systems Thermal-Hydraulics Methods Engineer
Join us as a Systems Thermal-Hydraulics Methods Engineer at Oklo Inc to analyze fluid flow and heat transfer within advanced reactor systems. Responsibilities
Model thermal-hydraulic systems using SAS4A/SASSYS-1, SAM, GOTHIC, TRACE, or equivalent codes. Develop coupled neutronic and thermal-hydraulic analyses for steady-state and transient behaviors. Design and utilize analysis methods that build confidence in design decisions. Automate, verify, and validate modeling and simulation tools. Collaborate cross-functionally to define design requirements and provide technical feedback to iterative design teams. Document work with modern tools and write well-crafted technical reports. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in nuclear, mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering. Proficiency with thermal-hydraulics analysis methods and core competencies in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics. Experience with systems-level thermal fluids analysis codes such as Flomaster, GOTHIC, or TRACE. Experience with data processing, pre-processing, post-processing, and scripting. Fluency with Python. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with reactor transient analysis methods and advanced reactor systems codes (SAS4A/SASSYS-1, SAM, RELAP). Experience with qualification and validation of analyses. Experience with nuclear engineering principles and multi-physics analysis methods for advanced reactors. Competency with modern software engineering practices and programming languages. Experience with CI/CD computing environments. Competencies

Salary: $73,000 – $157,000 per year, plus flexible time off, equity, competitive benefits, 401(k), health insurance, FSA, and other perks.
