This role focuses on finding, interviewing, and qualifying job seekers for temporary/contract positions in the local market. It is a full-cycle recruiting role that runs from sourcing to placement. You will engage with candidates via phone, email, or in-person, coaching them through resume editing, interview preparation, and post-interview follow-up. You will also collaborate with your team on open positions, posting job ads, and utilizing online sourcing tools.
Responsibilities
Proactive cold calling to identify prospective candidates.
Identify prospective candidates via job board search tools, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking.
Interview prospective candidates.
Prep candidates for client interviews—review resumes, discuss client needs, and conduct mock interviews.
Extend job offers and manage the offer process for selected candidates.
Follow up with candidates who are on assignment to ensure they have everything needed.
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
A love for working with people.
A tenacious degree of self-motivation and the willingness to exceed targets.
Leadership skills and competitive drive.
Confident judgment and discretion regarding business and candidate suitability.
Persistence to meet goals and metrics.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary $45,000–$70,000 per year, plus uncapped commission.
Hands-on, individualized training from day one.
