You want to be the boss? Well now's your chance - Domino's Pizza is hiring bosses - more specifically general managers. It's a tough job, one that needs a natural like you. Of course, you'll need some skills - judgment, math and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all shift activities: cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Set the example and enforce policy and procedures 100% of the time.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, timing, image and standards adherence, customer service, attendance, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, profitability.
Essential Functions & Skills
Arithmetic—add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills for processing orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise rapid movements.
Keyboard or touch‑screen order entry.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Work Conditions
Varying weather while removing trash and outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures 36°F to 90°F+.
Sudden temperature changes.
Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters (walk‑in coolers).
Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F+.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands
Standing – majority of tasks.
Walking – short distances, short durations.
Lifting – up to 50 lbs, bulk product deliveries, cases of ingredients and supplies.
Carrying – large cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough.
Pushing – moving trays on dollies, up to 7.5 lb force.
Climbing – occasional stairs or ladders.
Stooping, bending, squatting, reaching up to 72+ inches.
Grip tasks – grasping cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
Driving Specific Duties
Deliver product by car to customers.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
Insured vehicle available for delivery.
