Overview Supervisor of Employment Supports – 100% on‑site, full‑time, Boston, MA 02118.

Schedule:

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday; some flexibility required.

Salary:

$59,850 – $65,000 annually, DOE.

Responsibilities

Supervise Employment and Stabilization Specialists and Supported Employment Specialist teams to meet placement and stabilization goals.

Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the employment and stabilization program.

Provide direct support to a small caseload of trainees in employment and stabilization matters.

Collaborate with Pine Street Inn departments and community partners to deliver integrated service delivery.

Partner with external stakeholders to cultivate employer relationships and secure hiring commitments for trainees.

Required Qualifications

Education:

BSW, BA, or BS in a human services related field; a High School Diploma may substitute if accompanied by a minimum of six (6) years of experience providing direct care in a social service setting.

Experience:

2–5 years in a related field; minimum of 3 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience.

Cultural Sensitivity:

High degree of cultural sensitivity and experience working effectively in a diverse environment.

Workforce Development Knowledge:

Knowledge of workforce development principles, theories, and practices, especially for populations with significant barriers to employment.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and HMIS systems and other relevant databases.

Partnership Development:

Experience developing partnerships with external agencies and resources.

Program Management:

Experience establishing priorities, implementing plans, and meeting deadlines.

Problem Solving:

Creative problem‑solving mindset in addressing barriers affecting vulnerable adults, including mental health and/or substance use issues, housing insecurity, chronic unemployment, and limited education.

Preferred Qualifications

MSW or a Master’s Degree in human services related field.

Prior experience providing job placement services specifically to adults experiencing homelessness or mental health and/or substance use issues.

Experience creating and conducting workshops, developing presentations, and facilitating projects.

Bilingual: Spanish and English.
