Purpose Of Position This position is responsible for coordinating and executing the Material Review Board (MRB) Process at the IEM manufacturing plant/s. The incumbent must ensure the efficient processing and disposition of non-conforming (NC) materials and products – this includes, but is not limited to purchased components, parts, raw materials and return items. The role requires excellent ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage demand requirements and ensure the efficient movement and resolution of NC material concerns.
Essential Functions
Coordinate MRB Processes: Track and manage all MRB materials, ensuring accurate and timely processing and disposition, both physically and within the ERP system.
Document: Create and maintain non-conforming material records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Collaborate: Work with internal teams, including Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Supplier Quality, to resolve material issues and implement corrective actions.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy of MRB materials and ensure proper storage and handling.
Report: Generate and analyze MRB reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all MRB activities comply with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Incoming Inspection: Oversee the incoming inspection process to identify non-conforming parts and materials.
Source of Non-Conforming Parts: Manage non-conforming parts and materials found during incoming inspection, manufacturing and assembly, or during Quality Control and Test.

Competencies
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Software: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems, CAPA processes, Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485). Must have strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
Education And Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in a regulated industry.
Prior experience in Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance is strongly preferred.
Previous experience leading or managing teams.
Prior experience with Infor (Syteline) ERP system is a plus.
Physical/Mental/Environmental Physical Demands: Activities: Sitting – 25%/Standing – 75%
Lifting: Continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, and climb.
Vision: Long periods of close work on computer screens, small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.
Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Environment: Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.
