About the Role In this position you will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, sourcing, nurturing, and closing new clients primarily from your network or industry contacts that are not inbound leads. This is a hunter‑type role focused on the healthcare sector (hospitals, health systems, pharmaceuticals, and MedTech).
Responsibilities
Build strong, long‑lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise‐level clients across industries, with a primary focus on healthcare.
Originate and nurture business relationships resulting in engagement opportunities.
Present BairesDev’s unique value proposition tailored to the needs of client senior executives.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
Scope projects, shape engagements, and define business solutions that meet client needs and business outcomes.
Plan, implement, and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to achieve annual revenue targets and business goals.
Coordinate resources, organize, and mobilize cross‑functional teams (solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery) throughout the complex sales cycle.
Identify, manage, and mitigate key risks through tactical plans and actions.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or health systems sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
Strong experience in business development, account management, vendor relations, or clinical partnerships within the healthcare sector.
Proven success in sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and enterprise accounts within healthcare or life‑sciences markets.
Excellent understanding of the healthcare industry—including key players, strategies, client structure, business models, sub‑verticals, needs, challenges, and trends.
Demonstrated strategic, creative, and analytical approach, focusing on initiating and building client relationships.
Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems, EHR platforms, compliance requirements, and common technological challenges in healthcare.
Ability to deliver compelling presentations tailored to client needs.
Self‑motivated and results‑driven.
Detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven.
Native English or fully bilingual in English.
