Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney
We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected statewide workers’ compensation defense firm seeking attorneys at various experience levels. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote or from any California office location, with strong mentorship, steady caseloads, and a supportive team environment that values work‑life balance.
What You’ll Handle
Advocate for employers and carriers in workers’ compensation matters
Lead hearings, depositions, settlement negotiations, and related proceedings
Draft motions, reports, and other case documents
Manage a consistent caseload while collaborating with partners and colleagues
Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
What You’ll Bring
JD and active California Bar license
Background in workers’ compensation defense or related litigation (highly preferred)
Strong writing, analysis, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, tech‑forward environment
Organized, proactive, and committed to client service
Work Setup
Fully remote or hybrid options
Offices available in Agoura Hills, Oxnard, Encino, Inland Empire, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary typically ranging from $110K to $220K depending on experience
Multiple bonus programs
