is a senior role within the KPMGI International organization. Known for a culture fostering inclusion and innovation, KPMG provides audit, tax, and advisory services. This role will oversee global compensation programs for over two thousand secondees aligned to member firm principles and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and administer global compensation programs for 2000+ secondees in alignment with member firm compensation principles and KPMGI's business objectives.

Adapt compensation frameworks to align with global business objectives, member firm guidelines, local laws, industry standards, and market trends.

Collaborate closely with local HR and compensation teams to ensure consistent application of compensation principles and policies across global locations.

Work with the Finance Business Planning team to forecast and manage the compensation budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.

Employ advanced analytics to evaluate global compensation trends and organizational requirements, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum twelve years of recent experience in global compensation management with a focus on strategic planning, modeling, implementation, and transformation across multiple international markets.

Master’s degree from an accredited college/university or a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred. A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field is required.

Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., SuccessFactors), proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.

Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices in a global professional services or similarly complex organization.

Exceptional communication, change management, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders across cultures and geographies.

Superior consultative, analytical, and organizational skills with a strategic mindset and ability to link action plans to critical business priorities.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future. KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.

Salary Range California: $155,000 – $311,000 (subject to location, role, and experience).
