Introduction
Our client is a full‑service small animal hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, seeking a dedicated full‑time Associate Veterinarian to join their friendly and experienced team. The clinic focuses on delivering exceptional medical and surgical care, with the support and technology needed for veterinarians to thrive.
Working Hours / Rota This is a full‑time role with no on‑call responsibilities. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and closed on Sundays.
Role Description & Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide high‑quality medical and surgical care to small animals, delivering services including wellness exams, vaccinations, routine dental care, and a wide range of surgical procedures such as orthopedic, soft‑tissue, and dental surgeries. The role also involves preventive care, in‑house diagnostics, and the provision of complementary therapies such as cold laser therapy, acupuncture, and spinal adjustments.
Practice Details The hospital offers a comprehensive suite of services, including wellness care, geriatric care, dental services, boarding, in‑house diagnostics, cold laser therapy, acupuncture, and spinal adjustments. Surgical capabilities include soft‑tissue, orthopedic, and dental procedures. The facility supports a varied caseload, from preventive care to advanced surgical and rehabilitative treatments.
Team The practice has 2 DVMs and a strong support team, maintaining a high tech‑to‑DVM ratio to ensure strong clinical assistance. The team is friendly and experienced, fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA).
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain a state license for the state they are applying to work in.
Must have the right to work in the United States of America, or be able to obtain the required visa.
Package Salary up to $160,000 (Annual)
Base salary of $120k – $160k plus production.
Up to $75k signing bonus.
