You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including: Cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Meeting and enforcing all policy and procedures 100% of the time. Staffing, paperwork, scheduling, and overall store operations. Key Duties
Staffing and crew management. Paperwork and record‑keeping. Cost and cash control. Food management and inventory. Maintaining the store schedule. Ensuring a perfect image and adherence to standards. Delivering great customer service. Attendance and punctuality. Transportation to/from work. Store cleanliness. Marketing and promotion activities. Profitable operations. Qualifications
Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Orientation and training provided on the job. Ability to give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers. Essential Functions / Skills
Accurate arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); calculator may be used. Provide exact monetary change. Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and precise movements. Computer keyboard or touch‑screen proficiency for order entry. Work Conditions
Exposure to varying weather conditions during trash removal and other outside tasks. Indoor temperatures ranging from ~36 °F to above 90 °F. Sudden temperature changes. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters (e.g., walk‑in cooler). Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 °F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Physical Requirements
Standing, walking short distances, lifting up to 50 lb, pushing and pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, squatting, reaching, and hand/eye coordination are all required. Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle are also required for delivery duties.
