LHH is hiring: Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift in Middlesex County

Our client in Middlesex County is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to support their distribution center operations. In this role, you will ensure safety, efficiency, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. The Supervisor will manage the shipping team and uphold performance and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse staff to maintain safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules, address unplanned downtime, and maximize workforce productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, team collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.
- Achieve and maintain customer order fill rate goals.
- Direct the Shipping team to meet daily operational targets.
- Track, trace, and expedite orders; manage pick labels to ensure smooth warehouse flow.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Follow up with carriers to ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) shipments.
- Provide constructive feedback and support team performance improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations to foster growth and strengthen team capabilities.
- Enforce company policies, monitor attendance, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and OSHA requirements; lead safety meetings and training.
- Collaborate with management to reduce errors, enhance team skills, and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and shipping/receiving procedures.
- Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
