opportunity available for a well‑known privately held company based in Orange County! The CFO will lead all financial functions, drive disciplined growth, support M&A and capital initiatives, and build a high‑performing finance organization. This role requires a strong operator mindset, deep systems expertise (NetSuite), and experience navigating the complexities of geographically dispersed locations with both retail and wholesale revenue streams.

Financial Leadership & Strategy

Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and Board, providing financial insight to support growth, profitability, and long‑term value creation

Develop and execute a scalable financial strategy aligned with aggressive organic and inorganic growth objectives

Lead enterprise‑level financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range modeling

Operational Finance & Performance Management

Oversee multi‑location financial performance, including unit economics, margin optimization, pricing discipline, and working capital efficiency

Design and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting across retail and distribution channels

Ensure strong cost controls while supporting growth investments

M&A, Capital Markets & Deal Execution

Lead all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and integration efforts, including valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and post‑close execution

Support capital strategy including banking relationships, credit facilities, and potential equity transactions

Prepare board‑level materials, investment memoranda, and financial analyses

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

Oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, and internal controls

Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Strengthen governance, risk management, and audit processes appropriate for a scaled enterprise

Systems & Data

Act as executive owner of NetSuite ERP, driving optimization, reporting automation, and scalability across locations and entities

Leverage data and systems to improve visibility, decision‑making, and operational discipline

Lead and mentor a finance organization of 8–10 professionals across accounting, FP&A, and related functions

Establish a high‑performance culture with clear accountability, development paths, and succession planning

Qualifications & Experience

Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a multi‑location retail and distribution environment

Demonstrated success scaling a company through significant revenue growth (ideally $100M+ to $300M+)

Strong M&A and transaction experience; highly deal‑savvy with a growth mindset

Deep expertise with NetSuite ERP in a complex, multi‑entity environment

Strong understanding of unit‑level economics, inventory‑driven businesses, and working capital management

Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred
