The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. They support the Store Manager in various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and maintain guest satisfaction.
Support the store manager in daily operations.
Develop staff, manage scheduling and performance.
Control expenses, shrinkage, and inventory.
Implement merchandising strategies.
Qualifications
Prior retail and/or management experience required.
Minimum age 18.
Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Effective communication and a team‑oriented mindset.
Work up to 38 hours per week.
