Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk in Eugene, Oregon. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the organization's accounting needs. This is an on-site opportunity offering part-time hours with the potential to transition into a long-term role. Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
- Perform reconciliation tasks for accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Set up and implement a structured accounting system for future use.
- Schedule and coordinate tasks to streamline financial operations.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to track and manage financial data.
- Maintain and organize files both physically and digitally.
- Support data entry and ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights and recommendations on financial matters.
- Ensure proper use of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, for reporting and analysis.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for financial tracking and reporting.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including OneDrive, for efficient file sharing and organization.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in scheduling and coordinating tasks preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Eugene, Oregon.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage files and financial records effectively.
