Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including calendar and appointment management, scheduling meetings, and processing correspondence.
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, briefs, and other materials.
- Organize and maintain legal documentation, both digital and physical, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with firm protocols.
- Conduct research to support case preparation and court filings and compile relevant case documentation.
- Serve as a liaison with clients, witnesses, and court personnel, representing the firm with professionalism and discretion.
- Oversee billing processes: record billable hours, prepare invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for attorneys as needed.
- Manage office supplies and interface with vendors to support smooth office operations.
- Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role is strongly preferred; experience in a legal or corporate environment is also valuable.
- Proficiency in legal software, filing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Preference given to candidates currently residing in Hawaii due to role requirements.
