Staff Accounting / Analyst - $70K - Swarthmore, PA (Hybrid)
Growing, venture-backed company looking for an early-career Staff Accountant to join a 2-person finance team. Youll work directly with the VP of Finance as his right hand while the finance function is actively being built and automated. This is not a highly structured role. If youre comfortable figuring things out, building processes, and growing beyond traditional accounting, this is a unique opportunity.
Responsibilities
Staff Accountant Handle core accounting work (journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close) Support AP/AR, invoicing, and cash management Work across systems like NetSuite, and Power BI to improve data and automation Help document and streamline processes as the company scales Grow into KPI reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis over time Requirements
Staff Accountant Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong accounting fundamentals Interest in systems, automation, and analytics Solid Excel/Sheets skills Self-starter who doesnt need an instruction manual Why This Role Direct access to finance leadership Broad exposure across accounting, systems, and FP&A Real opportunity to grow into senior responsibilities in a nimble company Compensation & Perks Up to
