Mackie Myers is hiring: Finance Accounting Manager (Los Angeles) in Los Angeles

This role is based in San Fernando Valley, California.

Were partnering with a privately backed, fast-growing retail business in the packaging industry that is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to oversee all finance and accounting operations.

The company has grown from 6 to 9 locations across Los Angeles and continues to expand sustainably with the support of a PE investor.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will be both strategic and hands-onresponsible for managing day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and providing key insights to drive decision-making and growth.

What Youll Do:

• Lead all accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• Partner with leadership on performance reporting and financial planning
• Work with external accountants, auditors, and investors
• Improve processes and systems as the business scales

What Were Looking For:

• 5+ years of accounting experience (multi-location or retail a plus)
• Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical mindset
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a growing environment
• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
