This role includes assessing and managing the medical care of patients in collaboration with the physician and communicating with nursing staff and referring physicians to ensure continuity and coordination of care. Responsibilities
Assess and manage the medical care of ICU patients in collaboration with the intensivist and physician team. Communicate with nursing staff, referring physicians, and other disciplines to ensure continuity of care. Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations. Participate in continuous professional development in advanced nursing practice. Follow ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policy and procedures regulated by the State of California Nurse Practice Act. Qualifications and Certifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Master’s degree in Nursing. RN registered with California. NP-Nurse Practitioner national certification. ACNP-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner within 1 year of hire. BLS Basic Life Support. ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Preferred Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing. Critical Care experience. Physical Activities and Requirements
