Lead the Local Market Growth Team for Capital One’s Business Cards & Payments organization, building a high‑performing relationship manager team that drives revenue, profitability and customer experience across a defined geographic region. Responsibilities
Deliver superior growth and profitability by meeting or exceeding purchase volume, existing customer growth, account penetration, profit, cost and productivity targets while providing an outstanding customer and associate experience. Provide sales leadership, direction and program management within the team. Build a dynamic sales culture that compliments the broader Field strategy and assist the team in achieving account growth and purchase volume goals. Participate in strategic and tactical planning to drive growth, market share, revenue, cross‑sell, sales force growth and productivity, market penetration, customer retention and profit. Ensure all customer interactions comply with Capital One legal, compliance and regulatory guidelines. Champion effective partnerships with headquarters support teams and local Retail, Small Business banking and Commercial banking relationships throughout the market. Select, orient, train, coach, develop, motivate and conduct joint work with the team of Relationship Managers. Partner with other Local Market Leaders to ensure consistent execution of sales strategies. Champion voice of client and associate feedback to support continuous improvement culture. Have a deep passion for coaching and developing front line sales professionals and yourself. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
At least 3 years of sales management or peer coaching experience. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Management. 6+ years of customer growth or business development sales experience. 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role. 5+ years of portfolio management experience. 3+ years of experience partnering with Small Businesses. 3+ years of financial industry experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency in Salesforce.com. Salary and Benefits
Salary range for this role: $145,000 – $180,000 per year (regional variation). Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, cash bonus and long‑term incentive plans.
