Job Description
Lead structural engineering and management of building infrastructure projects, including healthcare, institutional, residential, and commercial facilities.
Perform structural design for new structures using concrete, CMU, steel, wood, metal studs, and mass timber.
Conduct seismic upgrade analyses using dynamic and finite element modeling tools (ETABS, SAP2000, etc.).
Develop retrofit and adaptive reuse strategies for existing buildings.
Produce contract documents including structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
Provide construction administration services including site visits and quality assessment.
Mentor and direct junior engineers and drafters.
Serve as the primary client contact and manage project relationships.
Participate in office management, marketing, and recruitment discussions.
Oversee project execution to ensure deliverables meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (or foreign equivalent).
Experience in project engineering and management of infrastructure, seismic evaluation, and design.
Competence with structural analysis/design tools (e.g., RISA, EnerCalc, SAFE, SpColumn).
Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards (CBC, CEBC, ASCE 7/41, ACI, AISC, NDS, TMS).
Strong technical writing, analysis, and presentation skills.
Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 per year (USD).
