Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Sales

Join us as a Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Sales at Hootsuite. This full‑time, remote‑first role is open to candidates in Canada or the United States. You will report to the Manager of Enterprise Sales.
What You’ll Do
Acquire new enterprise customers within our landmark industries and exceed individual quota targets.
Develop and execute an industry‑specific account growth strategy to generate a net new sales pipeline.
Own the entire sales cycle from opportunity creation to closing, including forecasting and revenue attainment.
Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, presenting value to senior and C‑suite prospects and driving long‑term partnerships.
Advise customers on social media management solutions and recommend tailored product mixes.
Manage RFI/RFP, security, privacy agreements, and the proposal and credit review process.
Educate prospects on social media impact, deliver product demos, and build consensus among cross‑functional decision makers.
Partner with pre‑ and post‑sales teams to remove roadblocks and ensure long‑term customer success.
Track and report sales activities via Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.
Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and drive cross‑sell initiatives.
Transition closed customers to the customer success team and onboard them smoothly.
Travel to prospects for presentations as needed.
Share learnings and insights with peers on deal challenges and account strategy.
What You’ll Need
Senior‑level B2B sales experience with 2+ years selling to enterprise customers (software experience an asset); proven quota attainment.
Strategic mindset focused on business value, ROI, and solutions rather than features.
Experience crafting and executing account plans for assigned territories or verticals, with strong outbound prospecting skills.
Strong communication skills—clear written and verbal expression, active listening, and effective questioning.
Results orientation: consistently achieving high performance and challenging self and others.

Negotiation proficiency and integrity while building relationships.

Compensation Canada: $105,000—$130,000 CAD base, plus variable pay.
United States: $110,000—$140,000 USD base, plus variable pay.
