Job Overview Our client is a nationally recognized wealth management firm headquartered in St. Louis, known for delivering holistic financial planning tailored to the unique needs of high‑income professionals and business owners. They are looking for a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join the Executive Leadership Team and lead the next evolution of talent, culture, and organizational excellence as the firm expands toward becoming a billion‑dollar, people‑first, performance‑driven enterprise.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO and ELT to build and execute a long‑term people strategy that supports scalable growth while maintaining cultural integrity.

Lead leadership development, succession planning, and organizational design across a multi‑entity, complex organizational structure.

Foster and sustain a high‑trust, high‑accountability culture grounded in core values and aligned with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles.

Create systems for recruitment, goal setting, and performance management to ensure the organization consistently places “the right people in the right seats.”

Oversee market‑driven, performance‑linked compensation and total rewards frameworks to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and alignment across all business units.

Maintain best‑in‑class policies, compliance, and HR governance across federal, state, and entity‑specific regulations.

Modernize HR operations, technology, and analytics to deliver actionable insights for leadership and enterprise decision‑making.

Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on all matters related to people, culture, and organizational health.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.

10+ years of progressive HR leadership, including 5+ years in a senior or enterprise‑level position.

Proven success leading people strategy in a growing, performance‑focused organization.

Deep expertise in organizational design, change management, and leadership development.

Strong ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams and entities.

Experience with EOS or similar operating systems strongly preferred.

Background in HR tech implementation, data analytics, and automation.

Strong business acumen, sound judgment, and executive presence.
