On-site at one of the following campuses: Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or CA: East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles
$200,000 annual salary, paid weekly. Health benefits start on day one, plus HSA/FSA and 401(k) Roth options

What You Will Be Doing
Developing and training Guides to deliver Alpha’s workshops with exceptional quality
Building Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and solutions to common obstacles
Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides aimed at increasing student participation and outcomes
Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating advanced motivational and coaching techniques
What You Won’t Be Doing
Creating lesson plans – your Guides support students learning via adaptive technology; your priority is training them to excel as motivators
Compromising standards – when our benchmark is 100% mastery, you uphold that expectation
Running dull training sessions – you’ll develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential learning
Key Responsibilities
Develop Guides and directly support students so that every learner in your cohort loves attending school, progresses at 2× speed, and acquires essential life skills. No exceptions.
Showcase and implement Alpha’s “3 Promises” for every student under your guidance and develop Guides to deliver the same outcomes.
Combine expert coaching capabilities with dynamic presentation skills, converting workshops, data‑informed team rallies, and precision feedback into powerful learning experiences.
Requirements
Currently located in, or prepared to relocate for on‑site work at one of the Alpha campuses (Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or CA: East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles)
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related discipline.
Proven track record of designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
Robust leadership and mentoring capabilities with a history of building, directing, and inspiring high‑performance teams.
Background working with youth (ages 5‑18) in educational or developmental settings.
Competency in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Additional Details This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. Consult
