Job Overview Our mid‑size Orlando‑based law firm is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Commercial Litigation Associate to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial matters. This role involves managing a diverse caseload that includes construction litigation, landlord‑tenant disputes (commercial and residential), bankruptcy litigation, contract disputes, and other commercial matters. The associate will be responsible for handling cases from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations and court hearings, and developing litigation strategies.
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and related documents.
Take and defend depositions.
Participate in mediations and all court hearings.
Develop and implement litigation strategies.
Qualifications
2–5 years of civil litigation experience with a strong emphasis on commercial matters.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently.
