The BNPL Product Sales Specialist is a key member of the PayPal sales organization, focused on growing merchant partnerships and driving increased revenue across the Americas. The role emphasizes solution selling of our Buy Now Pay Later, Pay Later, and PayPal Credit offerings, partnering with account managers to deliver value at checkout. The Specialist will serve as a BNPL domain expert, owning the value proposition for upstream presentment and the second button, and will deepen expertise within named merchant verticals to achieve desired outcomes for both PayPal and our merchants. Essential Responsibilities:

Lead functional projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business trends. Identify issues and recommend best practices to improve processes. Partner with various teams to analyze and understand business trends. Contribute to business or process improvements within the function. Develop strategies to enhance product sales and customer satisfaction. Expected Qualifications:

5+ years relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Responsibilities And Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience solutioning or selling to senior executives at Fortune 1000 companies. Deep experience working with customer C‑level executives and decision makers in Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. Ideal candidate has contacts across C‑level BNPL merchant targets. Deep experience with one or more of the following verticals: Travel, Retail, Marketplaces, Automotive, Big Box, Home and Furniture, Electronics, Sports and Outdoors. Deep expertise in consumer value mapping and application to BNPL customer needs. Deep expertise in funnel conversion design and optimization (ideally within Fintech, Direct‑to‑Consumer, Social, or scaled B2B2C digital platforms). Skilled storyteller with proven experience communicating and selling from a values‑based platform. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, emphasizing translation of insights, product information, and data into client value. Strong negotiation skills, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve win‑win outcomes. Proven consultative sales abilities and ability to work well in a matrixed environment, across multiple departments and levels within an organization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop value‑driven narratives and ROI‑based proposals. Strong industry knowledge of payments, including eCommerce and Omni acceptance solutions. Consistent track record of exceeding quota targets. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $178,000 to $305,800.
