Vice President, Finance . Reporting to the President, North America, and serving as a trusted advisor to the Global CFO and both global and local leadership teams, the VP will lead the financial and strategic performance of the company’s US business and play a critical role in supporting its long‑term growth ambitions. The VP Finance will lead and develop a team of 8, including a US Controller and FP&A Senior Manager, and will own the full P&L for the US market. This role oversees all aspects of finance operations, including adherence to IFRS accounting policies, financial data integrity, internal controls, and cross‑functional financial governance. Working closely with business units and retail locations, the VP Finance ensures strong accounting practices, efficient processes, and effective internal controls across the organization. While external reporting, treasury, tax filings, and vendor payments are managed by their overseas shared service center, this role remains accountable for US financial leadership, operational excellence, and strategic insight. This is a high‑profile, hands‑on leadership role requiring a collaborative finance executive with strong people leadership capabilities, exceptional influencing skills, and the commercial acumen to challenge assumptions and guide decision‑making at the highest levels. Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida (4 days a week in office – open for relocation). Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted business partner to US leadership—challenging assumptions, shaping decisions, and driving strategic clarity. Own the full US P&L, delivering revenue, margin, and profitability targets. Lead FP&A for the US market, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and KPI analysis. Build a rigorous planning culture that anticipates risks and opportunities and eliminates surprises. Provide high‑quality commercial insights to guide investment decisions and accelerate growth. Oversee balance sheet management, cash flow forecasting, and strong internal controls. Serve as the primary link to the Group CFO and Group Finance team, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with global priorities. Lead financial governance for store openings, remodels, and retail acquisitions (10+ annually). Develop and inspire a high‑performing US Finance team across FP&A, Accounting, and AP. Partner cross‑functionally with Retail, Marketing, IT, HR, and regional leaders to solve operational challenges and unlock performance. Support strategic projects, including M&A and integration initiatives. Requirements
20+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in retail, hospitality, or other multi‑site consumer experience focused environments. Proven ability to communicate financial insights through clear, compelling narratives for executives and Boards. Experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth organizations; global and publicly traded experience is a strong asset. CPA or MBA preferred. Demonstrated success leading finance teams and developing future leaders. Strong commercial acumen, analytical depth, and comfort operating under pressure. Expertise with BI tools (Power BI preferred) and enterprise ERP systems; SAP experience is valuable. Hands‑on leadership style with a strategic, change‑oriented mindset.
