Overview Gallagher Re is seeking an ambitious, analytical broking talent with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in reinsurance or consulting to join our Dallas office. Gallagher Re has grown significantly in the past few years and is looking for dynamic brokers to join the team to help expand and deliver best in class support to our growing roster of accounts. This is a client-facing role in a team environment that involves new business production, product development and servicing existing clients.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Act as a key member of the broking team partnering with actuaries and cat modelers to analyze insurance risks on a portfolio level to advise clients on reinsurance treaty structures to mitigate downside risk and improve capital efficiency.

Prepare, transmit, market, and complete reinsurance placements.

Ensure company, market and client related documentation is issued (internally and externally) accurately and on time.

Coordinate internal resources, such as analytics, contracts and client services to provide solutions to clients.

Meet with senior managers of client companies to present materials.

Be a thought leader: Conduct research on industry topics and develop content to be shared with Clients and Prospects, published in journals and/or presented at conferences and tradeshows.

Each member of our Broking team will join at least one Product Vertical or Segment (i.e. Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, Surety, etc.) participating in the development of our global production strategy.

Align with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities While this job does not have an official supervisory function, you will be expected to assist in the training and development of graduate hires.

About You

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.

3 or more years of work experience in Property and Casualty insurance, reinsurance and/or consulting.

Experience giving presentations to clients and internal groups.

Solid ability to communicate in written and verbal form with clients, prospects, and reinsurers.

Skill to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Compensation And Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
