The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Mason region seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Design, procure, and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production requirements. Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing methods and ensuring manufacturability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to processes, equipment, materials, and product quality. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process enhancement. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering field. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on process development and optimization. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement. Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, such as machining, assembly, automation, and tooling design. Demonstrated experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture design, process layout, and equipment integration. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim, Ansys) for process modeling. Six Sigma Black Belt or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Familiarity with Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) processes and equipment. Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI) for advanced process optimization.
