The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Coopersville seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Design, develop, and implement new production processes, equipment, and tooling. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing plans and processes. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Collaborate with R&D and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products. Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance productivity and safety. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement. Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture, tooling, and layout design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis. Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, automation, and production line balancing.
