Description Join a dynamic CPA firm for tax season! We are seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our accounting professionals and help ensure a smooth, efficient workflow during one of our busiest times of the year. This is a contract role January-April with potential for long term extension. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and handle inbound calls with professionalism and confidentiality
- Manage scheduling, appointments, and maintain calendars for accountants and managers
- Assist with preparation, assembly, and filing of tax documents
- Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems for sensitive financial records
- Perform data entry, scan and upload documents, and generate correspondence as requested
- Track incoming/outgoing client files and ensure all necessary information is collected and accessible
- Support the team with special projects and assist with general office duties as needed
- Prior experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an accounting or professional services environment
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (scanner, copier, etc.)
- Ability to handle confidential documents with professionalism
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
