Our client, an investment manager focused on specialized private credit strategies in inefficient markets, is hiring a full‑time Business Intelligence / Application Developer to work out of their beautiful Greenwich, CT office! This will be a hybrid/onsite model, typically 4‑5x/week onsite (potential flexibility here).
Their business includes Portfolio Debt Securities, Regulatory Capital Relief transactions, Strategic Credit investments and CLO securities. They manage many billions of dollars in assets for institutional, high net worth and retail investors. They've also more than doubled in size in less than 2 years for a few reasons!

Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Own and evolve the BI presentation and semantic layer design, ensuring scalable, consistent, and high-performance reporting across the organization;
Build and optimize complex data models in Power BI, aligning with best practices for performance, usability, and maintainability;
Manage policies and processes for data governance and data quality;
Train end-users how to use BI tools and reports effectively;
Support the development of data maintenance applications using low‑code technologies such as Power Apps;
Continuously improve BI infrastructure streamlining datasets, optimizing DAX calculations, and leveraging modern Power BI features (e.g., Fabric, composite models);
Champion BI best practices and standards, mentoring others and contributing to the ongoing evolution of the firm s analytics ecosystem.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience developing and maintaining complex power BI reports and dashboards.
Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query and SQL
Candidate is a self‑motivated problem‑solver with strong relationship building skills;
Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake a plus) and experience with ETL technologies;
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principals;
Experience working with a buy‑side firm, credit experience a plus;
Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
Full Power BI process, including dashboard building, schema utilization, training, and the overall data workflow, focused on ensuring efficient data sourcing and transformation upstream
