Overview
AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.
Perform pediatric admissions in our 15‑bed Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit.
Support ED pediatric consults and participate in daily family‑centered rounding.
Cover the Level 1 Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider.
Flexible schedule, approximately 14 12‑hr shifts per month for a full‑time pediatric hospitalist. Schedules include days, nights and weekends.
Provide care in a 28‑bed Level 3 NICU on site with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage.
Provide care in a 5‑bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on site with intensivist coverage.
Receive support from on‑site Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Medical Specialty teams.

Practice Description This employment opportunity includes call coverage, competitive compensation, occurrence‑based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, a 403(b) retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. Location and Facility AdventHealth for Children Walt Disney Pavilion offers a full‑service tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds including a dedicated Peds CICU, a 102‑bed NICU, a 17‑bed pediatric emergency department, and a statewide pediatric network and transport system.
