Job Title
Pediatric Hospitalist at AdventHealth Tampa.
Overview AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.
Responsibilities
Perform pediatric admissions in our 15‑bed Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit.
Support ED pediatric consults and participate in daily family‑centered rounding.
Cover Level 1 Newborn Nursery with support of an Advanced Practice Provider.
Flexible schedule, approximately 14, 12‑hour shifts per month for a full‑time pediatric hospitalist (days, nights and weekends).
Cover 28‑bed Level 3 NICU on site with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage.
Cover 5‑bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on site with intensivist coverage.
Provide Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Medical Specialty support on site.
Requirements
Board Certification or Eligibility through American Board of Pediatrics.

Practice Description This employment opportunity includes call coverage and competitive compensation. Hospital Description AdventHealth Tampa is a not‑for‑profit 536‑bed tertiary hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, serving the surrounding counties. The hospital specializes in cardiovascular medicine, digestive health, neuroscience, orthopedics, women’s services, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic‑assisted procedures. AdventHealth Tampa also houses the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute.
AdventHealth for Children Walt Disney Pavilion As part of AdventHealth Tampa’s collaboration with the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children, patients will have the support of a full‑service tertiary children's hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated Peds CICU, a 102‑bed NICU, 17‑bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. The program includes comprehensive pediatric open heart, epilepsy, BMT, solid‑organ transplant and liver transplant services.
