Senior Accountant – Carlsbad, CA We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team. If you’re serious about your next job, Sweetwater Care is an ideal place to grow your career. Responsibilities

Assist with month‑end close by preparing and posting journal entries and accruals. Manage prepaid expense, accrued liabilities, fixed assets and depreciation entries. Reconcile intercompany activities with subsidiaries to ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions. Reconcile balance sheet accounts to support documentation and assist with complex reconciliations. Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements. Document accounting processes, policies and procedures. Develop and maintain good relationships with company leaders and colleagues to provide an effective collaborative working environment. Perform ad‑hoc analysis and projects, as requested. Assist with year‑end financial audit activities and documentation. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Skilled Nursing industry. Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels. Deadline oriented, meticulous, strong analytical and organizational skills. Confident working independently and using initiative to guide through challenges. Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems. Seniority Level
