We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable regulatory requirements Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Oversee month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial data and provide insights to management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Coordinate and support internal and external audits Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives and system improvements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred) CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CV Resources by 2x Get notified about new Accountant jobs in
