Full Time Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to support our Labor & Employment practice in our Santa Monica office. This hybrid position requires three days on?site each week and provides essential administrative and litigation support in a fast?paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Provide litigation and administrative support to attorneys practicing labor and employment law Prepare, format, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents Handle state and federal court filings, including e?filing and service of process Manage attorney calendars, track litigation deadlines, and maintain tickler systems Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files Assist with billing, time entry, and expense reports Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Ensure compliance with court rules and internal firm procedures
Qualifications
Minimum of [X] years of experience as a litigation secretary, preferably in
labor and employment law Strong knowledge of California and federal court rules and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with document management systems preferred Excellent proofreading, formatting, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Annual salary of
$100,000 , commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan
