Join Hartford Hospital as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in our Surgical Critical Care team during permanent night shifts.
Position Details Location:
79 Jefferson St, HH Bliss Wing (10064), Hartford, CT 06102
Schedule:
Permanent nights, 27 hrs day/night rotating, including weekends and holidays. No call. Premium differentials offered.

Scope of Practice In collaboration with supervising physicians, Advanced Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, develop and implement comprehensive medical, educational, and psychosocial plans, and provide appropriate care within their scope of practice. They identify cases outside their scope and refer appropriately.

Qualifications Requirements:
Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
Certified or board‑eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
1–2 years of recent critical‑care experience as an APP in an ICU setting
Proven ability to independently manage ICU patients, including ventilator management, resuscitation, and critical‑care procedures within the APP scope of practice
Comfortable working independently during night shifts
