ETL Data Engineer II Jobs via Dice

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced ETL Data Engineer II in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. Candidates must be local to Denver. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Summary In this role, the ETL Data Engineer II will support a large‑scale data migration initiative as the organization transitions into a new Snowflake environment. This role is hands‑on and focused on rebuilding data connections, ETL pipelines, and tables while supporting modern data infrastructure efforts critical to 2026 initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries used for daily data operations

Assist with data movement into a new Snowflake‑based environment

Work with various ETL and data processing frameworks to transform and load data

Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and availability

Support data warehousing and architectural best practices

Participate in code management and collaboration workflows as needed

Support rebuilding and migration of

ETL pipelines

Data connections

Database tables and schemas

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

5 years of experience in database administration, data engineering, or a related field

Strong, hands‑on SQL experience with daily usage

Comfortable with advanced joins and complex queries

Working proficiency in Python, primarily for scripting

Experience with ETL processes and data processing frameworks

Experience working with data warehouses and data architecture concepts

Nice to Have

Exposure to tools such as Apache‑based frameworks, PySpark, AWS Glue, or similar ETL tools

Experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Fabric, Redshift, or similar

Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, or similar source control tools

Exposure to data visualization tools and how they consume data

Pay and Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
