The Plant Controller serves as the plant manager’s right-hand, overseeing financial operations, internal controls, and business processes to support growth and profitability. This role provides financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to guide strategic decisions, focusing on cost accounting, month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting. Key Responsibilities
Lead month-end close, general entries, reconciliations, and ensure balance sheet accuracy. Drive annual budget, forecast, and standard cost development processes. Provide actionable financial insights to support plant operations and strategic objectives. Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and sound business practices. Promote safety, environmental compliance, and best practices in manufacturing operations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required; Master’s preferred. 3+ years in a manufacturing plant environment as a Cost Accountant or Plant Controller. CPA preferred, with strong knowledge in accounting, finance, and cost accounting. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, QAD, Oracle). Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications
Corporate/finance analysis experience. Manufacturing FP&A, S&OP, and process improvement expertise. Benefits
