for its Portage, WI facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing cost accounting, with a strong focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for leading financial operations at the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The role involves ensuring month‑end closings are accurate and timely, providing financial insights, and partnering with leadership on strategic planning. The position is on‑site, full‑time, and temporary (covering an open position).
Salary: $85,000 – $130,000 (per annum).
Key Responsibilities
Lead the plant’s annual forecasting and budgeting process.
Oversee month‑end close, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Analyze actual vs. forecasted performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Partner with leadership on strategic financial decisions.
Ensure cost transparency and accountability in manufacturing operations.
Promote safety and environmental compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing as a Cost Accountant or Plant Controller.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QAD).
Proactive, detail‑oriented, with a hands‑on approach to financial management.
Solid communication and leadership skills.
