Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Swoon The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing electrical construction projects while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met. This role manages projects from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating with clients, field supervision, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction & Planning: Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and estimates to define scope and execution strategy Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and project handoff meetings Develop project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and procurement strategies Project Execution: Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from mobilization to closeout Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, foremen, and field crews Monitor project schedules and costs to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with scope, quality, and safety requirements Review and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals Conduct regular project meetings with clients and internal stakeholders Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and forecasting Safety, Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC codes, and company safety policies Promote a strong safety culture and support jobsite safety initiatives Ensure electrical installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and inspection requirements Track job costs, labor productivity, and project profitability Prepare cost forecasts, progress billings, and financial reports Support accounts receivable and closeout documentation as required Project Closeout
Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and punch list completion Ensure all closeout documentation is completed and approved Manage customer acceptance and final project signoff Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction project management Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and one-lines Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, and budgets Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project management software Seniority level
