What We Need You To Do
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the planning, organizing, developing and directing the day‑to‑day functions for the nursing department. Also responsible for evaluating the services and implementing process improvements. Key result areas will include workforce development, financial stewardship, standards of care, quality improvement and compliance.
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
Manage and supervise nursing staff
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Monitor and evaluate nursing care to ensure quality and efficiency
Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the nursing department
Qualifications We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited school of Nursing
Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as a registered nurse
Current CPR certification
Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of Nursing, preferred
Four to ten years of experience in a leadership role in a Long‑Term Care setting, preferred
IV therapy course, preferred
