Park Nicollet Health Services is hiring a Surgical Technologist (CST) to support our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. As a Partner for Good, you will impact the care experience for patients and their families every day.
Position Summary
Join our Same Day Surgery Center Team in Maple Grove, with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed. This fast‑paced, multi‑specialty Surgical Center offers opportunities for patient care and collaboration.
Work Schedule
1.0 FTE / Day Shift
Variable/Flexible Start Times
Variable Shift Lengths
Rotating Assigned Late Shifts
Weekends and/or call rotation possible in the future.
Occasional travel to alternate sites per rotation
Required Qualifications
Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs:
• CST (https://nbstsa.org/examinations-cst.html) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.
– or –
• NCCT (https://www.ncctinc.com/General/VerifyCertification.aspx) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 36 months of hire.
Surgical tech experience required (would consider highly motivated new grad)
Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
Demonstrated knowledge of age‑related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Preferred Qualifications
SPD experience preferred – Cross training to Sterile Processing
Currently validated CPR skills or BLS certification is preferred.
