Project Manager – Commercial Lighting Retrofit Reliable Electric and Lighting, Inc. is a national commercial electrical and lighting services provider with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical installations, service, and large-scale commercial lighting retrofit solutions for enterprise and national clients across the United States.

Position Summary The Project Manager – Commercial Lighting Retrofit is responsible for the strategic oversight, planning, execution, and delivery of national commercial lighting retrofit operations across multiple U.S. markets. This role provides senior-level leadership over multiple concurrent retrofit projects, manages regional and field teams nationwide, and serves as a primary liaison for large national clients.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on commercial electrical experience, deep expertise in lighting retrofit operations, and proven success managing multi-site, multi-state Projects. While an electrical license is not required, candidates must demonstrate strong technical knowledge and operational credibility to effectively lead teams and communicate with clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee national commercial lighting retrofit operations across multiple U.S. markets

Establish Project-level schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and execution strategies

Ensure contractual requirements, SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics are consistently met or exceeded

Serve as executive point of contact for large national and enterprise-level clients

Lead Project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and executive reporting

Coordinate and manage multiple project managers, field teams, service crews, and subcontractors nationwide

Oversee LED lighting retrofits, lighting controls upgrades, fixture replacements, and energy-efficiency initiatives

Review lighting counts, specifications, layouts, and scopes for accuracy and constructability

Maintain overall financial responsibility for labor, materials, logistics, and subcontractor costs

Monitor job cost reports and implement corrective actions when variances occur

Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, local AHJs, and company safety standards

Drive consistency in quality, documentation, and execution across all markets

Collaborate with estimating, procurement, logistics, scheduling, and accounting teams

Required Qualifications

8–12+ years of experience in commercial electrical operations, lighting retrofits, or Project management

Extensive experience with commercial lighting retrofit and LED upgrade projects

Proven experience managing multi-site, multi-state, or national retrofit Projects

Experience working with large national or enterprise-level contracts

Strong technical understanding of commercial electrical and lighting systems

Demonstrated leadership experience managing managers, supervisors, or multiple crews

Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license (any state) – preferred but not required

Experience leading national lighting retrofit rollouts

Familiarity with utility rebate Projects and energy-efficiency incentives

PMP or other Project/project management certification

Travel Requirements

Ability to travel nationwide as required to support Project execution and client needs

Salary: $90,000 to $100,000+
