Our client, a leading AmLaw firm with offices across the US, is looking to grow their litigation team in New York City with a number of strategic hires. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney with substantial litigation experience who is eager to build a long‑term career with a collaborative and high‑performing team.
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Independently handle all phases of complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on matters such as general liability, product liability, premises liability, auto/transportation liability, and personal injury.
Regularly conduct & defend depositions, handle court appearances, and motion practice. Effectively prepare and examine witnesses, ensuring thorough case preparation and strong representation of clients.
Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and seasoned partners on high‑impact legal projects, contributing to a collaborative, results‑driven environment.
Qualifications
Civil or commercial litigation experience, ideally with any of general liability, product liability, premises liability, auto/transportation liability, and personal injury.
Juris Doctorate from an ABA‑accredited law school.
Must be admitted in New York.
Proficiency in managing complex litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing.
