Director of Nursing (DON) Opportunity

Aiken Regional Medical Centers located in Aiken, South Carolina is a 273-bed acute care facility founded in 1917. The hospital is ranked among South Carolina’s top hospitals for treatment of heart attack, heart failure and stroke, and has a comprehensive behavioral health program through Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health. Responsibilities

Plan, implement and coordinate education, training, orientation, development and retention of nursing associates. Analyze and develop programs or initiatives to improve quality of patient care and physician relations. Ensure regulatory compliance and oversight of nursing services. Lead and mentor nursing associates and serve as direct oversight for psychiatric nursing at Aurora Pavilion. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN program. Master’s degree in Nursing required with specialization in behavioral health; behavioral health experience can substitute for the specialization within a master’s degree. Minimum of 5 years healthcare experience, nursing preferred, and 5 years management experience. Current South Carolina Nursing License required; Current CPR certification required. Benefits
