Position Highlights

Compensation range: $60-70K
Multiple shifts available

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for several Medical Lab Scientist positions at a diagnostic lab in the NW Dallas area. As a part of the laboratory operations team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity while meeting the needs of the company’s patients.
Job Responsibilities
Specimen handling, processing, testing, and reporting of patient results following approved laboratory procedures
Review and release test results accurately and efficiently
Follow established laboratory policies when test systems fall outside acceptable performance levels
Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting test performance or result reporting
Communicate issues to senior technologists or supervisors as necessary
Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines
Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing for patient specimens
Qualifications
BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline is required
Degree plan MUST include 25 hours of Chemistry to include 1 Analytical Chemistry/Instrumental Analysis type course (transcripts will be required)
1 year of clinical experience is required
Experience with LC-MS or ICP-MS would be a plus
Shift Information
Multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts are available which usually involve working 1 day on the weekends.
Training will be on days and then you will transition to assigned shift after completing the training
