Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

construction subcontractor
supporting projects across
oil & gas, transportation, government, and commercial infrastructure . This role reports into the
President
and works closely with Project Management and Operations.

Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day accounting function:
AP, AR, payroll, G/L and job cost accounting
Responsible for accurate
monthly financial
and management reporting
Oversee
budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning , and working capital management
Manage
project accounting : job costing, revenue recognition, change orders, and profitability analysis
Oversee
billing
(including AIA progress billings), pay apps, retention, collections, and deposits
Prepare and review
WIP and job cost reports ; support PMs with insights and course-corrections
Maintain internal controls, policies, and compliance (including subcontractor documentation)
Improve processes and systems; mentor and develop the accounting team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years in
construction/project accounting
Strong knowledge of
percentage-of-completion , job costing, WIP, and construction billing practices
Comfortable building best practices in a growing environment
