Being the Utilization Review Coordinator at Devereux has its Advantages! Services include residential treatment, therapeutic foster care, outpatient counseling, crisis intervention, and community‑based supports. Devereux Florida focuses on individualized, trauma‑informed care, helping youth stabilize, heal, and transition to less restrictive environments with ongoing family involvement and support.
Position Overview As the Utilization Review Coordinator at Devereux Florida, you will work with other dedicated professionals internally and externally who share your passion for helping others, and ensure a fluid collaborative Admissions and Utilization Review process for the children's psychiatric residential treatment programs throughout the state of Florida. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining admission utilization reviews on each client’s appropriateness for admission and treatment. You will facilitate and monitor discharges and needed aftercare services for each individual served, and maintain current knowledge on the multitude of funding sources and ensure compliance with mandated requirements and standards.
Position Details
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. In‑person position.
Salary: Starts at $20.25/hr (subject to increase based on relevant experience and education).

Education Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, mental health, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or a human services field required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (above).
Experience
1+ year working targeted case management, medical billing/record keeping, utilization management, discharge management, or related clinical service experience.
Strong MS Office Suite experience.
Other Requirements
Valid Florida driver’s license.
Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings, which include a drug test.
