voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation, a leading provider of integrated roll forming solutions that produce larger volumes of components, is seeking an PLC Electronics Maintenance Technician to join their team in Jeffersonville, IN.

Multiple Shifts Available :

3 days off a week with this 2nd Shift Schedule: 3:00PM-1:30AM Monday to Thursday

4 days off a week with this Weekend Nights Schedule: 5:00PM-5:00AM Friday to Sunday

Duties and Responsibilities:

Apply troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of production systems to diagnose machine problems, both electrical and mechanical.

Perform or coordinate repairs to equipment per manufacturer and company requirements.

Use of variety of hand and power tools and test instruments, such pipe benders, saws, drills, soldering irons, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and digital multi‑meters.

Install, adjust, and calibrate equipment to manufacturer, company and engineer’s drawings and specifications.

Maintain equipment, practicing preventative and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer and company specifications, including the proper lubrication, cleaning, and repair or replacement components.

Repair, modify and maintain building electrical service.

Comply with all quality, ISO and OSHA standards.

Complete training on new and existing equipment.

Use applicable reference material and at the direction of the supervisor may be required to use specialized reference material.

Use proper lock‑out‑tag‑out procedures and ability to train other Electronics Technicians.

May work as a leader of a team, which may utilize helpers.

Rewire/repair of manufacturing equipment (i.e. drives, control panels, and PLC controls).

Use PLC (AB, SIEMENS) development software for troubleshooting and maintaining machines.

Utilize outside technical support resources (ie. AB technical support).

Making repairs to mechanical equipment.

Specify, install and troubleshoot new equipment.

Repair, modify and maintain buildings/facilities.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities.

Order spare and repair parts for equipment and facilities.

Implement CI/Cost reduction and safety projects.
